The GentleYAG laser is safe for most people with unwanted hair. It can be used anywhere this hair grows, including the face. The laser targets pigmented hair, so it can’t be used to remove blonde or gray hair. Although rare, there is a chance that the laser could cause hypopigmentation, or reduced pigment, in people with dark skin tones. Having a small test treatment performed two weeks before having larger scale hair removal can prevent this problem.
Procedure
